The Club History
The Cercle National des Armées was founded through an Order of Council, dated 05 February 1887, and a law dated 16 April 1924, authorising its settlement on the grounds of the La Pepiniere Barracks.
The building on the place Saint-Augustin was the chief architec of the "Palais Nationaux", Mr charles Lemaresquier, member of the institute.
The statues surmounting the columns are the works of art of sculptor, members of the instition : Mr Injalbert for the "Turco", Mr François Sicard for the "Poilu", Mr Jean Boucher for the "Marin" and Mr Paul Landowsky for the "Cuirassier".
The building was inaugurated by Mr Gaston Doumergue, French Republic President
